Make sure your internet business is legal

It is always your personal responsibility to check the legality of anything you sign up for so far as any laws that might apply to you are concerned. You will be personally liable if you engage in an illegal activity. For example, gambling sites are illegal in some countries, with hefty fines payable by offenders.

Read the fine print, and any terms of use or member conditions and benefits on the web site. If the web site promises instant wealth, makes loud claims to be legal, mentions famous people or royalty, or claims to have been a smash hit on Oprah or some other major television program, don't even waste time checking it out.

If you have any doubts at all about a particular web site, the answer is simple. Don't get involved. Just move on and look for something else. There are plenty of worthwhile opportunities out there.

There is no single 'best' way to earn money on the internet. It is up to you to find the way that fits with your available time, existing skills, interests and budget, and your personal goals.
