FFA pages (or Free for All web sites) let you post a brief advertisement on a web page, along with many other text links posted by other people. If the viewer clicks on your link, they will be taken to the web site concerned. They can build traffic to websites if you can write good headlines for your advertisements

Most times, there are two types of membership at FFA web sites, free and PRO (professional). Both types get a free ffa page of their own, which they can promote to attract sign-ups. You can be a 'poster' to FFA pages, or an 'owner' of FFA pages, or both.

When you post a link to an FFA website, you must agree to receive a autoresponder confirmation email in your emailbox. This can be anything from just a simple "Thank you" and a business link, to a lengthy advertisement.

As a free poster, you also agree to receive a one-time message from every PRO member in the FFA's database. This is your cost for the free advertising you are getting.

Free web sites for free members tend to be limited in what you can do with them. You can usually only place a banner at the top or bottom of the website, promoting your favorite online business. You can also send an autoresponder message to each person who posts a link to your page, but not to anyone else in the network. Often, you can also send a personal email once a week to any downline members you have found.

PRO memberships offer much more, including a daily email list of every person who posted to the entire database of FFA pages! Another neat thing about PRO membership is that you usually get more scope to personalise your page.

You could receive thousands of confirmations, and one-time messages from just posting to one FFA website, and people who post to FFAs often use bulk email boxes set up just to receive these emails.

Most FFAs will produce some results - not good results - but some results. And you must actively promote your FFA page to get results.

Or if you are a PRO member, to everyone who posts to the network you belong to. But if you don't promote your page no-one will ever find it!

Is that all there is to it?

The most important thing is to choose a good program. The pointers below will guide you towards picking good FFA web sites and boosting your sales systematically.

Reasonable cost for professional membership, good commission if you find referrals.
Sites which allow you to customize your web page are the better choice for PRO membership. This gives you extra opportunities to earn income from the page.
Make sure you have a new email address to use as a 'list" address when joining.
Should allow you to send an autoresponder reply to everyone who posts an ad on your site.
Learn how to write a good ad! (VERY IMPORTANT!)
Be certain to set up your FFA autoresponder carefully. Periodically change the "subject lines" of your daily solo ad and your autoresponder ad. Your autoresponder letter gets sent out automatically, so make sure it is correct.
And, last, but not least, promote your personal FFA sites daily. YOU WILL MAKE MONEY WHEN YOU PROMOTE!

Now, work this system or a variation of it daily -- do not miss a day -- for thirty days to see your first results. Some people see results sooner. It will usually take only a couple hours a day, and you can recruit as many as 10 to 15 new members every month once you "get the hang" of it.

The very first thing you should do is obtain two free email addresses at Yahoo. One of these will be your 'list' address, which you will be using to receive posting confirmations and autoresponder messages. The other is your "sign-up" email address which is used for membership contact by the FFA network operator. You only need the second email address if you plan to be a website owner.

We recommend two addresses as you can also use the second as a contact email for affiliate businesses that you join in the future.

What sort of results can you expect?

FFA rank low on the totem pole so far as their marketing value is concerned. That doesn't mean you should dismiss them as completely useless though, as some do. Here's why.

	There are a lot of people who post manually, or visit the FFA page to see where their own advert is showing. The natural thing is to skim through some ad headlines to see if any look interesting.
	A few low cost pro memberships can generate a HUGE number of autoresponder messages. Thousands per day. Over the course of a single year you could conceivably send more than a million sales messages out for hardly any work and very little cost.
	They are handy for testing email content and advertisement headlines to see which gets the better response.

Whether YOU can make FFA pages work for YOU is entirely in your own hands. But you may be pleasantly surprised at the results if you sharpen up your writing skills, spend some time studying what other people advertise, and track your results so you are monitoring what works and what doesn't.
