What sort of results did we get?

Nothing much happened for a day or so. Then our link popularity started rising. After the first week and a half of use, our link popularity rose by a factor of more than 3 times. We have been very careful NOT to spam, and usually only send out 1 advertisement every day or so. Each advert has been completely different and targeted to different search phrases and specific pages on our web site.

As well, we tried to write advertisement content that is useful to blog readers. This makes it more likely (we hope) that our posting will be retained in the blog and less likely to be removed by annoyed blog owners wanting to keep their blogs free of what they might consider non relevant material. Of course many blogs are relatively 'inactive' but as a principle we are opposed to spamming.

Its important to note that the results you get will probably differ from ours, as there are a lot of variables involved, not the least of which are the keywords you target in your own particular case.

Why would a blog owner want these ads?

Well, they are certainly not going to want your ads if you use BlogBlaster as a spamming tool for junk biz-ops. At best your ads will get completely ignored if you do this.

This works to improve the page ranking of the blog when search terms relevant to the primary content and subjects of the blog are entered into search engines. This is one of the instances where both parties, the blog owner and the 'blaster', mutually benefit.

Its up to you to provide sensible content in the wording of advertisements you send, and to target them to suitable blog niches. Just blasting 'willy nilly' to everything in sight will almost certainly lead to your IP address being rejected as a poster by blog networks over time.
